Handyman Rates:

These rates are per technician and do not apply if an estimate or a quote is requested, these rates are only utilized when charging an hourly rate for work. In most cases any work that is estimated to require less than 4 hours of time will be billed using this hourly rate system.

Minimum charge: $100

This is the minimum rate Havenborn charges for any work that requires 1 hour or less of time.

Hourly rate: $75/hr

Any work requiring more than an hour of time will be charged at this rate and will be billed in 30 minute increments

Short notice rate: $110/hr

Short notice rate is deemed as same day service requests, or requests required urgently between 5pm and 8am

Trip Fee Out of Airdrie: $0.45/km

For traveling to Calgary, Crossfield, Carstairs. Any town or city outside of Airdrie needs to be charged an additional travel fee.

Approximate Project Rates:

These are for a single technician plus materials, and are just rough estimations to give customers an idea how much to expect to spend on full day or on multi-day bookings, or even small home renovations. These are not real cost estimates.

1-3 hour small repair bookings:

(mounting TV, soffet repair, hanging shelves or pictures, furniture assembly, light fixture changes, etc…)

Typically $100-$300

5-8 hour medium repair bookings:

(wall repairs, deck and fence repairs, selling your house to-do list, some painting, flooring repairs, honey do lists, cabinetry)

Typically $450-$850

Multi-day Small Renovations:

(decks, fences, simple bathroom reno, home additions, upgrade cabinets, redo trim or baseboard, painting house interior, drywall garage)

Typically $2,000-$7,500
